Right Time Right Place

Unusually, perhaps, I write both fiction and non-fiction. In the next 12 months I hope to release both my second novel, The Son of Man, together with a book on digital healthcare.

While based on my experience so far, I would plan to use Troubador for any fiction titles, they don't publish non-fiction so I didn't have any choice but to look elsewhere. Fortunately, I had already had an excellent experience using The Right Book Company for my 2023 non-fiction title Made Without Managers so it was a no-brainer who to use. Their costs are comfortingly comparable and the processes proposed are quite similar so it will be interesting to explore in this blog how their approaches differ as each book progresses.

I had my first Zoom conference with The Right Book Company this morning and already there is one marked difference in style. I already know what my Right Book Company team look like whereas I have never seen any of my Troubador team. I do wonder why that is. It isn't affecting the professionalism of the Troubador service but it does seem relatively  less personal as a result. Something to ponder...
